And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. Exodus 33:11

Joshua waited on God, His Word and His presence, while others were playing and doing whatever they wanted with their lives. Those who wait on God don’t waste in life. Sometimes people might look at you and say, ‘ Are you not wasting your life and time? You have given all you have to the church. ‘That is the voice of the devil trying to discourage you and you must refuse to listen to it. One of the key thoughts on dedication is unusual dedication to God and it is the secret of unusual manifestations in life. This happens when people look at your life and they see that things are happening above normal frequency.

An example of such a person in the Bible is Joshua who commanded the sun and the moon to stand and they did. Why would God hearken to the voice of a man and make time to stand still for 24 hours? The only reason why God would do that is because the man was unusually dedicated to Him: Joshua departed not from the tabernacle (Exodus 33:11). Unusual manifestations, answers to unusual dedication. Some people have been coming to church for the past ten years or more, and have been doing nothing in the house of God; they are not in the prayer group, choir, sanctuary or in any department in the church, but sit comfortably to take notes and then go back home.

Go higher in your prayer life, Word life, worship to God, and service in the house of God. If we must see the overflow that God wants us to see, we must shift gear in our dedication to God. When you serve God let it cost you something, you should feel it in your body, spirit and soul that you have done something in regards to service to God. Never serve God in your comfort, or when you feel its convenient for you. Determine that you give it all it takes in your service to God. You have dwelt on the mountain of normal Christianity for too long. Its time to change level and God will bless you as you do so in Jesus’ Name. Always remember this, your aim in life determines your end in life.

In continuation from the last article.

The third way to generate faith is praying in the Holy Ghost. Jude 20 says  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost‘. Speaking in tongues is an avenue by which we develop our faith. when you are praying in tongues which is speaking in the Holy Ghost as you will find in Acts 2:1-4, you are not talking unto man but unto God, and  God reveals things to you in that process which builds your faith. 1 Corinthians 14:2 says ‘ For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.’ When you speak in the spirit, God reveals secret things to you which builds your faith. 1 Corinthians 2:10, ‘But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.’

The fourth way to generate faith is by exercise. The more you pray for the sick, the bolder you become. Once you have overcome the initial momentum, you have overcome your fear and continuation is guaranteed. you will not know what you can do until you dare something. One action of faith provokes another exercise of your faith. Jame 2:14 says ‘Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.’

The fifth way to generate faith is called, company with faith people. Company, association or connection determines conviction. The people you meet with or associate with can cause your faith to explode, because you assimilate the character of the people you associate with. for example in  1 Samuel 10:10 Saul prophesied when he came in the midst of the prophets. ‘And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.’  also in 1 Samuel 19:24 he prophesied again when he came in contact with Samuel ‘And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?’  Always try to surround yourself with people of faith, and your faith will be renewed. And i believe that as you practice these points, that your life will never remain the same in Jesus’ Name. Remain blessed.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

I want to write to you about ways to generate faith. We know faith is important but how do we bring it into existence or perhaps when it seems like its getting exhausted, how do we replenish it, there are five ways I know, and will love to share them with in you.

The first is by hearing the Word of God. Romans 10:17, ‘So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God‘ The Word of God is alive and it speaks, God speaks to us through His word. There are two levels of insight you get from hearing the Word of God one is information while the other is revelation. While information leaves you where it met you, revelation set you in motion.

Revelation is seeing what has been said not only hearing it. In revelation, you can see it and even picture it in your mind. Until Revelation is observed, faith cannot be seen. Nobody doubts what he sees. Turn the scripture into picture, if you can picture it, you will capture it. It takes a massive and aggressive injection of the word for faith to be instilled. Keep hearing the Word and picturing the Word until that unbelief disappears.

The second way to generate faith is by fellowship or relationship with God.Act 2:42 says,  And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.’  When you are sold out for God, you will come to a point where you know Him so well that you will not doubt Him. The more time you spend with Him, the more you know Him. Lack of confidence is lack of knowledge of God.

Men and women of God are people of deep communion with God. The more you know Him the more you trust Him. your love for Him will make it hard or difficult to doubt Him. Every genuine love is built on trust. When you love somebody you will like to spend time with Him. The more time you spend with Him, the more you know Him. Every relationship is built on communication. Nothing strengthen a relationship like communication. The enemy cannot step in until there is a break in communication, your knowledge of Him will determine your exploits on earth.

God bless you, will continue with the third point in the next article.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. HEBREWS 11:1,3

There are certain facts that you need to know about faith and they are:

Firstly, faith is not a gamble or an experiment; it is strong confidence in the Word of God that provokes action. When someone says, ‘They said that if I praise God I will experience the Presence of God; let me praise Him and see if i will experience His presence. ‘That is not faith. Faith is not what you do to test God; it is what you do to confirm that you believe God. Faith actions are actions that confirm that you believe and not doubt.

Secondly, faith is in levels and it grows. From the Scripture, we know that there is a level of no faith, little faith and great faith. At different times Jesus said, ‘O woman, great is thy faith (Matthew 15:28),’ ‘Oh ye of little faith,’ (Matthew 8:26), and ‘How is that you have no faith?’ (Mark 4:40)

2 Thessalonians 1:3 talks about the growth of faith. It says, ‘We are bound to thank God always for you…, because that your faith groweth exceedingly.’ Just like it takes solid nutrition and concrete exercises to build the body, to build your faith, you need revelation nutrition and spiritual exercise. You need to feed on the Word of God which is the food of faith (Romans 10:17). When you feed on revelation, you put your faith to work by doing what God says you should do consistently, not occasionally, then you will become a giant in faith.

Don’t ever be discouraged because your faith is at a low level now. keep on growing your faith. The time will come when you will start seeing greater results, and you will be happy you allowed your faith to grow. Always remember that the vehicle of the supernatural is run by the fuel of faith. REMAIN BLESSED.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.HEBREWS 11:6

This will be the last episode of pillars of faith, and I believe you have been blessed so far.

The seventh pillar of faith is confession. Confession is a spiritual energy that sets up spiritual forces in motion. What you believe is useless until you confess it. i believe therefore i have spoken. If you believe, it will issue out. Proverb 8:21 ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.’ Words are the energy source of faith. Genesis 1:3 ‘And God said, Let there be light: and there was light’. Your utterances are the presumptions of your destiny. It doesn’t matter what you believe, if what you utter are wrong, you are going no where. Life is designed so that your tongue communicate your desire not your fear.

‘Let the weak say am strong, let the poor say am rich’ that should be your confession from henceforth. Never say I am sick, I am not feeling too good, things are not working and so on. Negative utterances attracts negative occurrences, always be positive in your utterances Numbers 14:28 says, ‘Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.’

The eight and final pillar i will write about is called excitement. Philippians 4:4, 11-13 ‘ Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice… Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.’ Excitement, gratitude and praise will provoke the release of your result.

When Daniel fasted for 21 days an angel was sent to him, but when Paul and Silas praised and worshiped God in the prison, God Himself came down and intervened. fill up your clouds and the will empty themselves upon you. And I believe as you practice this pillars of faith, that God will shift your faith to another level which will provoke extra ordinary results in and around your life in  Jesus’ name. God bless you.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. HEBREWS 11:6

In continuation from the last article…

The fourth pillar of faith is Believe. Believe is also conviction, there is no faith without conviction,  it is the bed rock of faith. Believe is what fuel desire and action. What you have not seen as possibility, will not be real in your life. Your persuasion, determines your possession. Isaiah 7:9b says ‘…If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.’  The highly established people are the highly convinced. where people conceive nothing, believe nothing, they will achieve nothing. Conviction is pivot on which other pillars rest. What fuels conviction is association. The kind of friends you have determines what you will become.

The fifth pillar is confidence. When a man confidence is crushed his reward is buried. Every man of exploit is a man of outstanding confidence. Confidence in the force behind any form of breakthrough. Every man of confidence will dare the impossible. Hebrews 10:35 says ‘Cast not away therefore your confidence which hath great recompence of reward.’

Confidence means boldness or inner fortitude. Confidence is expressed in prayers. Confidence is provoked by exercise. Confidence is not trial and error. Confidence is the expression of reality, if you are convinced you will see it.

One of the ways you can build your confidence is by working on your purity or righteousness level. Proverbs 28:1 says, ‘The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous is as bold as a lion.’ You can also build your confidence by the knowledge of God. Daniel 11:32 say, ‘And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.’

the sixth pillar of faith is Action. James 2:17 says ‘Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.’ The prove of conviction is action. Conviction is impotent without corresponding action. What you believe, you will behave, the way you behave shows what you believe. Action is what gives motion to faith. it is the action of faith that produces the reaction of God. If you want God to move, it is better to be prepared and not have an opportunity yet, than to have an opportunity and your not prepared. If you want to see God do the impossible then be prepared to take action.

To be continued… God bless you.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. HEBREWS 11:6

If you read my last article, ‘Boosters of faith’ i dealt more on sacrifice because it is important and I mentioned the importance of sacrifice and what it entails, in this article i will like to tell you about pillars of faith, they can also be referred to as boosters, but I prefer to call them pillars, because on it can your faith stand firmly.

The first of them is Hope, Hebrews 11:1 says ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for…, Romans 8:24 says ‘ For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?’. Without Hope, faith is handicapped. Faith is hopeless without Hope. To be hopeless is to be helpless. Hope set the pace while faith catches it.

Hope is expectation. Where there is no hope there is no faith. Hope is the raw material for faith. life turns at the direction of your expectation. As long as you faith is intact, you are in good shape. In life and ministry, faith is your greatest asset. What you drive is not as important as what drives you, Jesus gave His life and took it back willingly because of Hope in what the Father has said about His anointed one (Hebrews 12:2). Your expectation determine your experience. When you are on the look out for things you will see them.

The second pillar is Expectation, Psalms 16:8-9 says I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.’ Expectation is the mother of manifestation. When you set God before you, your problem will bow before you. you will not be moved. so be on the lookout for what He has said concerning you and your situation.

The Third is Desire, Proverbs 18:1 says ‘Through desire a man, having seperated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.’ Behind every great destiny is a great desire. You cannot acquire anything in life until you desire it. Desire is to be steadfast minded, to be persistent in pursuit. It is the state of the heart for a specific need. The content of the heart determines the impact on the earth. Desire is the Power link between the divine and humanity. psalm 37:4 ‘Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart’. To be continued… God bless you.
