PILLARS OF FAITH 2

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. HEBREWS 11:6

In continuation from the last article…

The fourth pillar of faith is Believe. Believe is also conviction, there is no faith without conviction,  it is the bed rock of faith. Believe is what fuel desire and action. What you have not seen as possibility, will not be real in your life. Your persuasion, determines your possession. Isaiah 7:9b says ‘…If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.’  The highly established people are the highly convinced. where people conceive nothing, believe nothing, they will achieve nothing. Conviction is pivot on which other pillars rest. What fuels conviction is association. The kind of friends you have determines what you will become.

The fifth pillar is confidence. When a man confidence is crushed his reward is buried. Every man of exploit is a man of outstanding confidence. Confidence in the force behind any form of breakthrough. Every man of confidence will dare the impossible. Hebrews 10:35 says ‘Cast not away therefore your confidence which hath great recompence of reward.’

Confidence means boldness or inner fortitude. Confidence is expressed in prayers. Confidence is provoked by exercise. Confidence is not trial and error. Confidence is the expression of reality, if you are convinced you will see it.

One of the ways you can build your confidence is by working on your purity or righteousness level. Proverbs 28:1 says, ‘The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous is as bold as a lion.’ You can also build your confidence by the knowledge of God. Daniel 11:32 say, ‘And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.’

the sixth pillar of faith is Action. James 2:17 says ‘Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.’ The prove of conviction is action. Conviction is impotent without corresponding action. What you believe, you will behave, the way you behave shows what you believe. Action is what gives motion to faith. it is the action of faith that produces the reaction of God. If you want God to move, it is better to be prepared and not have an opportunity yet, than to have an opportunity and your not prepared. If you want to see God do the impossible then be prepared to take action.

To be continued… God bless you.
