Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. HEBREWS 11:1,3

There are certain facts that you need to know about faith and they are:

Firstly, faith is not a gamble or an experiment; it is strong confidence in the Word of God that provokes action. When someone says, ‘They said that if I praise God I will experience the Presence of God; let me praise Him and see if i will experience His presence. ‘That is not faith. Faith is not what you do to test God; it is what you do to confirm that you believe God. Faith actions are actions that confirm that you believe and not doubt.

Secondly, faith is in levels and it grows. From the Scripture, we know that there is a level of no faith, little faith and great faith. At different times Jesus said, ‘O woman, great is thy faith (Matthew 15:28),’ ‘Oh ye of little faith,’ (Matthew 8:26), and ‘How is that you have no faith?’ (Mark 4:40)

2 Thessalonians 1:3 talks about the growth of faith. It says, ‘We are bound to thank God always for you…, because that your faith groweth exceedingly.’ Just like it takes solid nutrition and concrete exercises to build the body, to build your faith, you need revelation nutrition and spiritual exercise. You need to feed on the Word of God which is the food of faith (Romans 10:17). When you feed on revelation, you put your faith to work by doing what God says you should do consistently, not occasionally, then you will become a giant in faith.

Don’t ever be discouraged because your faith is at a low level now. keep on growing your faith. The time will come when you will start seeing greater results, and you will be happy you allowed your faith to grow. Always remember that the vehicle of the supernatural is run by the fuel of faith. REMAIN BLESSED.

  1. What are your thoughts about Romans 12/3? At the end of this verse it says God has given every man The Measure of Faith (KJV). I believe everybody is given the same amount of faith. The difference is where they place that faith. Those of us who are Christians place that faith in Jesus Christ and once we do that Faith Grows by the word. Others might Place their faith in nature or astrology or in other people. But initially I believe we are all given the same measure of faith. That makes us all equal in God’s eyes. This would contradict your statement that some people have no faith. So I just wondered what you thought about that.

  2. ok sir, thanks for that discovery you made. But i want you to understand that given something to a person, does not mean the person has accepted it yet, and so they literately still don’t have it. in my own view. God has made it available but not everyone has gotten it yet. Now, use yourself as a for instance, you gave your child a book, but he didn’t accept it, will you now say he has it, or maybe he accepted it initially and then throws it away would you still say he has the book? The whole idea of faith is focused on the light from God’s Word. I don’t think anyone has faith if he has no Word of God in him. that’s why Romans 10:17 says ‘so then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God’. Except you suggest that even an unbeliever has faith in Jesus Christ, and remember, faith isn’t just saying it, it is believing it and acting it. And please note that, the faith am talking about here is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who happens to be God also. Thanks
