And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him… After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. MARK 8:22-25

The first thing that anybody will do to get the touch of God is to recognise his or her need for sight, power, anointing, etc. It is possible that the blind man of Bethsaida was not the only blind man in Bethsaida, but he was the one that recognised his need. The worst thing that can happen to anybody is to be in need and not be aware of it. Also, the worst thing that can happen to anybody is to be too proud to recognise his need for the touch of the Master.

The Bible said ‘And Jesus led him. ‘He took the blind man by the hand and led him. The second requirement for the touch of God is willingness to be led. If you want God to touch you, you must be led. You must come to a point where you have surrendered your life’s direction to Him; you are willing to be led into the business you will do, the person you will marry, where to live, the job you will do etc. God will not force Himself on you, you have to make that decision yourself. God has His part to play. But to be willing is your own part to  play.

The reason why many people are not candidates for the touch of God is that they have their own agenda. ‘Lord, this is who I want to marry, just approve it.’ ‘This is where i want to live, just approve it.’This is the business i want to do, Just approve it.’ ‘I want to this or that, Just approve it.’ But God is looking for people who will allow Him to take them where He wants to. God who made the universe, Who sees the beginning from the end, knows whats best for you. God wants to empower people who have decided to trust there future into His hands. Always remember this, whenever God is involved in a situation the impossible becomes possible.
