BE READY TO LISTEN TO THE DONKEY

I have also spoken by the prophets, and i have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of prophets. HOSEA 12:10

If a new convert in the Lord is called and asked to give a five minute exhortation, there are some people who will watch him with disdain or contempt. But if a big man of God takes his stand before them, the reverse becomes the case.

If you are not ready to learn from a donkey, you are set for destruction. If your in doubt, you can ask Balaam, whose donkey saw an angel with a sword drawn ready to kill him.

At any point in time, God can use anybody and anything to teach you. The person you hate the most may have the most important instruction for your life. You may not know whom God has given that Word, who God may give an instruction that could change your life.

It might be your little child in your house, it might be your brother, your colleague or your classmate that has that vital Word. That is why meekness is a crucial requirement. Anybody who can’t learn from a child cant go far in life.

Until you come to a point in your life where you say, ‘Lord, I am ready to learn from anybody you will use to teach me.’ the future is never in view
